江苏华亭人，字鹰垂。周茂原子。康熙十八年岁贡。授国子监学正。生平以经世为志，汤斌巡抚江苏时，纶数上书言苏松重赋事。有《芝石堂文稿》、《不碍云山楼稿》、《石楼臆编》、《八峰诗稿》等。
